Departing and returning to Capital City Airport (KFFT) in Frankfort, Kentucky, The Spirit of Kentucky Air Race is located along the renowned Kentucky Bourbon Trail, with its many distilleries making up many of the waypoints for our course options. Pilots are encouraged to select a course appropriate for both their skill level and aircraft, with both courses being completed within an hour to hour-and-a-half.
