A Once-in-a-Generation Opportunity to Shape Our Community’s Future


A new Lake Stevens Library is being built, and the spaces we furnish today—especially those for kids and teens—will inspire and serve young readers for generations. Right now, we have the chance to create a place where imagination, learning, and discovery thrive.


To help bring this vision to life, Friends of the Lake Stevens Library is hosting “The Stories That Shape Us,” a Dinner & Auction on September 20, 2025, at the Lake Stevens Food Bank.


The new branch is a blank slate, and what we invest in today will directly shape the experiences of future generations. Every book nook, study space, and creative corner we fund will be a lasting legacy for our community’s young learners.
