Approx. 6 Continuous Yards | 53” Wide | 1971
A stunning and increasingly rare piece of authentic vintage Schumacher textile design pulled from The Strollers archives, this vibrant “Hydrangea” screen-printed fabric features lush blue and white hydrangea blooms layered against a rich navy ground with vivid green foliage. The scale, saturation, and hand-screened character make it a striking example of classic Schumacher decorator fabric from the golden era of American interior design.
This piece includes approximately six continuous yards at roughly 53” wide — an exceptional amount of uninterrupted vintage yardage, ideal for statement drapery, upholstery, pillows, or custom interiors. The fabric remains in excellent vintage condition, with only minor discoloration along the raw selvage edge that does not affect the visible printed field or usability.
Vintage Schumacher textiles are highly sought after by interior designers, collectors, and lovers of classic American decorating, particularly in substantial continuous cuts such as this. Comparable Schumacher fabrics today retail at luxury designer pricing, and authentic vintage screen-printed examples are increasingly difficult to source.
