Task Force Garrison Upland Academy Hosted at the Marine Chukar Warfare Training Center For Marines Who Can&rsquo;t Hunt Chukar Good and Wanna Learn Other Outdoor Stuff Good Too Task Force Garrison, in partnership with the Nevada Department of Wildlife and supported by Chukar Chasers, proudly presents an introductory upland hunting experience built specifically for veterans looking to learn, connect, and spend time in Nevada&rsquo;s incredible backcountry. This event was designed to remove barriers that often prevent veterans from entering the hunting and outdoor conservation space. Many veterans leave military service searching for renewed purpose, stronger community, and healthy outlets that challenge both mind and body. Upland bird hunting offers all three. Participants will receive hands-on instruction covering: Firearm safety Shotgun familiarization Clay target shooting Chukar hunting fundamentals Conservation education Mountain movement and preparation Field mentorship from experienced hunters Whether you&rsquo;ve hunted your entire life or have never touched a shotgun, this event is designed to be beginner-friendly and mentorship-driven. No Gear? No Problem. Loaner shotguns will be available. No Hunter&rsquo;s Education? Nevada apprentice hunting opportunities may allow eligible participants to attend without prior certification.
