It&#39;s a perfect opportunity to relax, connect, and support the preservation of a historic building and a 100+ year-old civic organization in Spokane. Picture this: the soulful sounds of local musicians filling the air, a glass of delicious wine in hand, and the warmth of friends coming together for a cause they believe in.&nbsp;Every ticket purchased and every glass raised supports our efforts to complete necessary upgrades at our historic building.&nbsp; Last year, the fire marshal informed us we had to replace our stage curtains in order to maintain our occupancy permit. The curtains were purchased at a cost of $5700, which came from the money we were saving to upgrade our HVAC systems. &nbsp;The main part of the building still uses a central boiler with radiators for heat, which causes our Avista bill to average $1500 in the winter months. &nbsp;The basement room (knows as the Rose Room) has its own HVAC system, which broke down years ago, and we have been unable to use it for events since then. &nbsp; Your participation helps us continue to preserve the building as a community event space where memories have been made for over a century.
