In a world shaped by sweeping and overwhelming narratives, individual voices are often quietly pushed to the margins. Behind history and headlines, each of us is still living a deeply personal story. Yun Theatre hosts annual script reading events as a way to return to these individual experiences through theatre and shared listening. By spending time with stories on the page, we make space to notice the joys, sorrows, wounds, and resilience that shape who we are. This event is part of The World I’m In 2.0, continuing a conversation we began in previous years. This reading features Stain by Sarah Cho, a subtle yet emotionally resonant play that explores intimacy, memory, and the traces left by human connection. Through restrained dialogue and moments of quiet tension, the work examines identity, desire, and the complexities of relationships - particularly where cultural expectation and personal history intersect. With care and precision, Stain invites us not only to witness what lingers beneath the surface, but also to reflect on how our pasts continue to shape who we are becoming. Lake City Branch - Seattle Public Library12501 28th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98125
