After a brief instructional session, attendees will work directly on actual tombstones throughout the cemetery grounds under guided supervision.Whether you are interested in local history, genealogy, cemetery preservation, or simply want to learn the correct way to care for historic markers, this workshop offers a rare opportunity to gain practical experience while helping preserve the stories of the past.Space is limited to just 20 participants to ensure a quality hands-on experience and personalized instruction. Advanced registration is required. Our event will begin with a classroom session at the Glen Carbon Heritage Museum from 9am - 11am. &nbsp;We will then break for lunch and reconvene at Woodlawn Cemetery at 1pm for the hands on portion of the workshop. &nbsp;Lunch is not provided in this session.
