On May 3 at 9pm, AS220 will host the Rhode Island premiere of
Transformers: Terminal, a new feature film by writer/director Miles Engel-Hawbecker and producer/editor Theresa Tomi Faison. Featuring an original score by composer and Providence native Joe DeGeorge (of Downtown Boys, Harry and the Potters, Sax Machine).
Transformers: Terminal is a feature film about a fanboy, an e-girl, and the horrors of fandom.
Aidan (Russell Sorbello), an awkward fanboy, finally leaves his mother’s basement and goes to meet Sierra (Natasha Mercado), a bubbly vlogger fresh off a break up who needs help filming a new video series at Comic-Con. At first they struggle to navigate their devirtualized relationship. Right as they start to figure it out, disaster strikes.
