Travel Visions Aloha for the Blind is celebrating one year of being operational, and we’re marking this milestone with our first-ever Blindside Event—a surprise pop-up experience at Foster Botanical Garden! This location holds a special place in our hearts because this was our first-ever event. One year ago, we gathered here to create an inclusive, multi-sensory experience that made nature accessible in a whole new way. Now, we’re returning to where it all began to relive the magic and celebrate how far we’ve come! Participants will have the opportunity to:    •    Use Braille brochures with plant descriptions to enhance the experience    •    Engage in a Braille-numbered tree game to encourage interactive exploration    •    Take part in an Audio Bird Scavenger Hunt to identify birds by sound    •    Explore unique plants, trees, and textures through touch Volunteers will help facilitate these activities, ensuring an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. To make this anniversary even more special, we’re holding a raffle. Some of our past event partners and supporters have generously offered us the chance to re-tour their establishments, and we’re passing those opportunities on to you. The first prize is two tickets to 21 Degrees Estate Cacao Farm, with more to be announced! Stay tuned for additional raffle prizes! All registered participants and volunteers will receive a complimentary meal and refreshments, as well as Handi-Van coupons for an easy ride home. Join us as we celebrate one year of adventure, inclusion, and growth with our first-ever Blindside Event at the place where it all started.
