It&rsquo;s about 1 mile hike to the dispersed camping area where we will overlook Camp Geronimo from the top of the Rim. Scouts will learn the basics of overnight backpacking in the woods and will carry their own gear. They will need a sturdy backpack along with good hiking shoes, small sleeping bag, tent (shared), clothes, sierra cup, utensil, 1 gallon of water (minimum), and toiletries. If you would like to borrow a backpack or any other gear, please contact Patrick (-480-284-1187,) or Phil (480-748-0571). There is no water or toilets on this hike.
