McNair, the astronauts of the Challenger Mission 51-L, and forty years of advancement, education, and opportunity. The Commemoration Event will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Space Center Houston, 1601 E NASA Pkwy, Houston, TX 77058. &nbsp;Over 400 guests will enjoy a Black-Tie affair from 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m., a formal dinner, including guest speakers, live music, and a luxurious silent auction. Our 40th Anniversary Commemoration Event celebration will support the DREME Foundation&rsquo;s Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) initiative and provide scholarships to the youth flying club organization, Bronze Eagles Flying Club of Texas, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3), whose mission is to educate and promote aviation to all youth. Dr. Ron McNair was an amazing volunteer who spoke to youth across the nation, encouraging them to continue their education, reach their goals, and accomplishments, especially in STEM fields. Our Anniversary Event seeks to raise funds to honor his legacy and commitment, including scholarships to help youth further their education.
