Women in construction know how to get things done. But somewhere along the way, being capable can turn into feeling responsible for everything. You become the one who catches the dropped balls, steadies the room, keeps everyone moving, and quietly carries more than anyone realizes. Jill calls this pulling the plow: the invisible weight that gets attached when your strength, care, and competence turn you into the person who absorbs every problem before anyone else has to feel it. Together, we’ll look at how the plow gets attached and why putting it down can feel harder than picking it up.You’ll leave with a simple way to identify what is truly yours to carry, put down what isn’t, and return responsibility without guilt so the people around you finally have room to step up.This isn’t about caring less. It’s about leading without dragging the whole field behind you. Unhook The Plow!
