Your membership not only grants you access to exclusive benefits but also directly supports our mission. 🤝The following qualifications will be required for membership;(a) Must be of Sherpa ancestry. &nbsp;(b) Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. &nbsp;(c) Must demonstrate respect for Sherpa language, culture, and religion. &nbsp;(d) Must submit a membership application with the required form, fees, and supporting documents. &nbsp;(e) To verify Sherpa ancestry, the Executive Committee may require or accept any of the following documents or evidence: birth certificate, family registration certificate, recommendation letter from a recognized Sherpa society or monastery/gumba, or any other reliable proof of Sherpa ancestry. The Executive Committee shall have the final authority to approve or reject any membership application.Note: The Association shall not discriminate on the basis of caste, color, nationality, religion, sex, age, disability, marital status, gender identity, or immigration status. However, in alignment with the Association&rsquo;s charitable purpose of preserving Sherpa language, culture, and traditions, membership shall be limited exclusively to individuals of Sherpa ancestry.
