This copper bracelet was crafted by a Hopi woman, 83 years old. UP worked for a couple of days fixing up the home of her sister. When UP asked about the cost of a bracelet, the elder woman said, "Please take it as a gift; take as many as you want." In gratitude for our gift of service, she wanted to thank us by giving us the product that supports her family. Lesson learned; bracelet paid for. Both parties enriched.

This bag brings together powerful stories, history, music, and
experiences that will leave you inspired. Inside, you’ll find three thought provoking books, starting with Never Caught by Erica Armstrong Dunbar, the powerful story of Ona Judge, an enslaved woman who risked everything to escape the Washington household in search of freedom.
The book is signed by both the author and the artist, Manuel Ramirez, whose large mural of Ona Judge was unveiled in Portsmouth earlier this year.
The bag also includes two tickets to the Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire walking tour in Portsmouth on Saturday, October 17, from 2:00–3:30 PM. The featured tour, Lives Bound Together: The Washingtons and Ona Marie Judge in NH, brings this important story to life while exploring the history of Black
people in New Hampshire.
Continue the journey with Sum Rithy: Surviving the Genocide in the Land of Angkor, a moving story of survival
during the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia, and the historic Martin Luther King Jr. and the Montgomery Story comic book, highlighting Dr. King’s leadership and the power of nonviolent action during the Civil Rights Movement.
Adding to the collection are two CDs featuring music by UP founder Tim Churchard, with songs exploring
social justice and important issues facing our world. Finally, the bag itself is a special piece from the Bruce
Springsteen Land of Hope & Dreams 2026 American Tour.
Whether you love history, music, or simply want to discover something new, bid on this special bag and
remember our voices and actions can make a difference.
