VCQ members will provide quilt demonstrations during the day on Friday for members and museum guests.

VCQ Member Appreciation Reception and Mini-Quilt Show on the Mill Level of the Virginia Quilt Museum (that’s the lower level of the Silver Lake Mill below the museum).   VCQ will roll out the red carpet for members to mingle and relax at this historic mill.  We hope many of our new members will attend so we can meet you in person.  VCQ will provide refreshments, food, and a sampling of some of the quilts we have made through the years by attending in-person, virtual, and Celebration! classes.   (Please notify Kelly Zuber if you would like to share one of your quilts during the show.)

Saturday, Sept 19, 10:00AM -4:00PM

Sew all day at the beautiful museum on Silver Lake in a very special in-person Come Quilt With Me.   The museum is allowing us to take over their classroom upstairs and the Mill Level room below the museum to spend the day doing what we love best – QUILTING!  We have 30 slots available.  This would be a great time to work on the Silver Lake pattern right on the shores of Silver Lake. Please Respond to Question for CQWM: Hand Sewing OR Bringing a Sewing Machine
