VeteransCreate! is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) founded by veteran artists who wish to continue service by sharing the benefits of creativity with others. We are currently focusing on providing paint-a-longs that include free supplies and expert guidance within the Upper-Peninsula Algoma Region. This service connects veterans, service members, first responders, and their families with meaningful creative outlets that support both personal well-being, growth, and community connection. Through a hybrid model of virtual (the Veteran Artist Network, VAN) and on-the-ground programming through VeteransCreate! in the Soo and Counterparts in other regions who share our philosophy. VAN&#39;s creative programming includes mentorship, free remote creative wellness sessions with licensed art therapists (signup on our Discord), artistic training, and a supportive community where participants can explore and develop their creative voice.
