What is the Veterans Outreach Service Center?The Veterans Outreach Service Center (VOSC) is located at 407 Main St Red Hill, PA and is a location staffed by volunteers who provide a multitude of services to our Veterans. Our volunteers conduct monthly wellness calls to Veterans in PA to check on them. They reach out to see if the VFW can do anything to assist them physically, mentally, spiritually, and financially. The VOSC provides monthly appointments with County VA representatives and representatives from other non-profit organizations to assist our Veterans navigate the Department of Veterans Affairs system by getting appointments for health care needs, modifications to their homes for disabilities, providing medical devices such as wheel chairs and walkers, transportation to and from appointments, finding employment, and filing healthcare claims. In the near future the VOSC will also provide room and board for our Homeless Veterans once the proper renovations and permits are approved. The Department of Veterans Affairs will support this mission financially once these renovations and permits are completed. The Veterans residing at the VOSC will have immediate transportation to receive needed counseling and treatment from the VA.
