We are looking forward to your visit!  Please review the following tour day information:<ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Tours begin at 10 a.m. and last approximately three hours. Please arrive no earlier than 9:45 a.m.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">The tour is considered a moderate hike due to Southern Highlands Reserve's high elevation (4,500 feet) and takes place over varied terrain including mulch, gravel, stairs, bridges, and boardwalks through wooded areas.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Tours are rain or shine — please dress accordingly.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Please do not come if you have a fever or any symptoms of illness. We will reschedule your tour.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">SHR staff or docents will greet you and escort you while in buildings.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Please stay on trails, roads, turf — do not enter planting beds.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">SHR is a tobacco-free environment.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">We encourage guests to carpool when possible, as parking is limited.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">SHR is located on top of Toxaway Mountain at 558 Summit Ridge Rd., Lake Toxaway, NC 28747.
