Setup tasks may include:

• Unloading vehicles
• Table linens & centerpieces
• Stage/platform setup
• Registration/check-in area
• Photobooth and noraebang area
• Auction tables/signage
• Cultural activity stations
• General signage and decorations
• Putting together gift bags
• Room layouts and general organization
• Any non-perishable supplies

We will provide refreshments for all setup volunteers on Friday evening.

Help us give guests a warm welcome as they arrive at the Chuseok Festival! Volunteers will greet guests, assist with check-in, answer questions, and help attendees find their way around the festival.

You’ll also help registered guests pick up their Chuseok gift if they are among the first 200 registrants.

You’ll also help welcome anyone arriving later in the evening and provide a friendly point of contact for guests who need assistance, as well as help registered guests pick up their Chuseok gift if they are among the first 200 registrants.

Help us wrap up the festival and leave the venue ready for their staff! Volunteers will help pack up equipment, decorations, market materials, food and beverages, and other festival supplies. All event materials and community members must leave by 12:00 AM.

This is a very important shift!
We’ll need a strong crew to get everything packed up and the building cleared by our midnight deadline... Otherwise, our carriage may just turn back into a pumpkin! 🎃🌕

We’re looking for a volunteer who can take AK Connection’s table linens home or to a laundromat after the event and wash, dry, and fold them so they’re ready for storage and future events. AK Connection will provide fragrance-free detergent and storage bins, as well as reimburse any reasonable laundromat costs with a submitted receipt.
