  • Saturday, October 3 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

🌿 COMMUNITY OUTREACH β€” Farmers Markets & Local Events
Free

Represent Community Book Nooks in the community

Join us at local farmers markets and community events to share our mission and connect with neighbors. You'll staff our table, hand out materials, and help us grow our community of supporters β€” no experience needed, just enthusiasm (really!).

Upcoming dates:

  • AnyΒ Saturday through October 31, 2026 | 9:00 AM -- 12:00 PM (plus set-up/breakdown)
REC Farmers Market at University Park, Worcester
965 Main Street (across from Clark University)
We don't need someone there every week -- even once or twice is great!
πŸ“¦ BOOK NOOK CHECK-IN & DELIVERY β€” Ongoing / Flexible
Free

A recurring role for dedicated volunteers

Become a regular part of our team by checking in on existing Book Nooks and delivering fresh book supplies as needed. This flexible, ongoing role is perfect for someone who wants to stay connected to our work week to week β€” or even month to month. Delivery routes are in Worcester County and can often be combined with errands you're already running. If you're looking for a way to make a lasting difference without committing to a fixed schedule, this is it.
