• Includes 9 holes at Blacksburg Country Club (front flight or back flight)

Goatley Rules golf brings a fun, non-traditional twist with exciting challenges along the way. We’ll have both a front flight and back flight open to increase participation, along with the famous Crap Shot (toilet shot) on the driving range and other entertaining challenges on the putting green.

3:00 PM: Guided Tour of Virginia Tech Campus Grounds

The Virginia Tech Turf Team has added a guided tour for anyone not playing in the Goatley Rules Golf Tournament on 8/24/26. We are still working out the details for something special with Cody Kiefer, Director of Grounds at Virginia Tech, and Matthew Gart, Grounds Manager and Landscape Architect at Virginia Tech.

Join us on Monday, August 24th @3:00pm for a special tour of the Virginia Tech campus for our lawn care and professional grounds enthusiasts. Details will be coming soon with specific tour highlights for this free event, designed to welcome you to Blacksburg and set the stage before our free welcome dinner at the Blacksburg Country Club and Field Day festivities kicking off the next morning on Tuesday, August 25th.
