As we are getting close to the event, we wanted to reach out to all those who registered with more details &amp; instructions as follows:&nbsp; 📍1) Location: This family event is on February 14th at Memorial Park Houston (1500 E Memorial Loop Dr, Houston, TX 77007). This is an opportunity to not only bring awareness about cancer prevention but also an opportunity to instill healthy lifestyle by walking/running in parks and nature. The event will take place on a public trail next to the park site. We are attaching the map which shows the start/finish line, parking locations (multiple options of both paid and free street parkings), hydrating stations (Siraat Cub Scouts), and the route. The route goes in a clockwise directions.If you are unable to find your way, please call/text Fawad at (713) 858-8559 or Haider (312) 231-3339 to exchange a location pin.  We will be at the Promenade Pavillion ready to check you in. After registration, you will receive your  Warrior Running bib with your number. Please put the bib on your shirt.&nbsp; ⌚2) Timing:  February 14th, 2025 Participant Arrival Time/Sign-in: 10:00 AM Run/Walk Start: 10.30 AM SharpRun/Walk End: 12:00 PMThe enthusiastic competitors will be released in the front at 10:30 AM followed by the run/walk participant crowd. Please bear with us as we unleash our fearless contingent on the trail. &nbsp;Note: Please arrive at least 10 mins early to easily find parking and get situated because the park is usually quite busy early in the morning and parking spots may become limited. &nbsp;&nbsp;🚘3) Parking: There is paid and free parking available throughout Memorial Park as indicated on the map and also can be found hereMemorial Park Map 🏃&zwj;♀️🏃4) Event Details: The participants will run or walk on the Seymour-Lieberman Exercise Trail, which is a 3-mile / ~5KM loop at the beautiful Memorial Park. This is a beautiful flat trail and is a loop, so we will meet back at the starting point at the end of the run.  The weather is expected to be in high 50s/ low 70s, perfect to be outdoors. Prepare to wear athletic clothing and shoe and carry a light jacket if you get cold.We will meet at Promenade Pavillion. There will be a registration desk at the pavillion.&nbsp;There is a medal for everyone! However, for our competitive friends, the finish timing will be on Honor basis. The top three finishers will be acknowledged with a souvenir prize. So everyone is encouraged to keep track of their own start/end time, with a watch or phone. Once you complete your run/walk, go back to the registration table and report your time.    The medals will be handed out as and when you finish the race. We encourage you to hang out around the pavilion as we have our friends from TRS Health providing health education and screening. &nbsp; 🥤👟5) Things to bring: We will have water and Gatorade on-site and at one hydration station along the trail. You are welcome to bring your own water and sports drinks (electrolytes) to properly hydrate (there are some water fountains along the Seymour-Lieberman Exercise Trail). &nbsp;Running shoes Comfortable Clothing/Additional T-shirt Hat/Cap Sunglasses Sunscreen Raincoat/poncho in case there is some chance of rain  Special Instructions: While it is fun to run and walk together as friends and family, we need to respect the right of others to use the trail as well. The trail is wide enough to let 3-4 people run/walk together, but please do not do so, and allow sufficient space for people to pass you.
