LXCL:Rob Jenkins Watercolor Workshop October 2026

General Admission

Rob has been painting in watercolor for 17 years, and is mostly self-trained, but with the assistance and encouragement of many well-accredited watercolor artists through the workshop format. As an “old” architect, Rob has spent the entire first half of his career drawing by hand prior to the advent of Computer Aided Drawing and Design (CADD) – hand drawing everything from conceptual design, to design development and detailing, to complete construction documents, and perspective presentations. Consequently, Rob has drawn all of his life, and views drawing to be the foundation for all of his painting. We are excited to announce we have scheduled the workshop with Rob Jenkins for 3 days in late October: Monday Oct 26th, Tuesday Oct 27th and Wedensday the 28th, 9:30am - 3:30pm each day with a break for lunch. The workshop is limited to no more than 6 students to keep the experience intimate and of high quality. Cost is $250 for three days. Rob works at an easel. We have 4 floor easels available and if you have your own, either table or standing, we encourage you to bring it. A supply list will be emailed after registration is completed. The workshop will take place in the gallery at the Blue Sage Center for the Arts. Rob's exhibit will still be up to provide inspiration. We invite you to join us for three days rich in learning the watercolor painting techniques Rob uses to create his portraits and urban landscapes.
