Waves of Resistance is an evening of Indian classical dance theatre that investigates what motivates the common person to join movements of resistance. We compare the similarities between the Boston tea party and the salt march of the Indian Independence movement.&nbsp; Waves of Resistance&nbsp;is a comparative production which places these two points in history next to each other. Hosted by Silambam Phoenix, this program continues our mission to preserve and share the depth of Indian classical arts through thoughtful performance, cultural context, and community conversation.
