Death to Tyrants by Jo Buxton
$80

Starting bid

In tarot, The Tower card represents immense change, liberation, an end, or an awakening. The ouroboros is symbol of continuous cycles, and how beginnings and endings are connected. Thorns have long been a symbol of internal and external struggle.
This deck is a protest piece and a reminder that broken systems of power always fail before better ones can rise. Liberation is disruptive, messy, and ultimately ours to sow.

Johanna (Buxton) Roberts is a Pacific Northwest-based artist working out of Bremerton since 2015. Jo started as a graphic designer and photographer, working in branding & publishing for 10 years before transitioning to printmaking and art.

Johanna spends her time raising a firecracker of a kid, as a community art advocate with Wayzgoose Kitsap, and tending to her garden.

Free to Fly by Heela Patel
$80

Starting bid

This piece (work-in-process photo submitted) is based upon an original painting I created during Covid, which I notice people are most drawn to, of all my works. I think something about the little hummingbird following a ray of “light” - a rainbow - gives a feeling of freedom in pursuing one’s joy and happiness. Personally, to me, it also represents hope. Hope for what lays ahead. Hope for the future. A free and just future.

For many of us living in current times, there is an underlying uneasiness. I hope this piece brings a smile and respite from the negative.

Remember to follow the rainbow. 🌈

Thank you for taking the time to read about this piece.

Hello! My name is Heela. I returned to painting during Covid, after years of following a typical career path in business and aerospace after graduating with my Supply Chain degree. Art opened up a world of new relationships and community connections for me. It has given me an outlet for frustration and an opportunity to gain positive experiences from my surroundings. I primarily paint landscapes reflecting our surroundings in beautiful Washington state, but have been branching out to animals and people recently. I am also interested in industrial art and finding shadows, shapes and beauty in unconventional settings. My preferred mediums are acrylic, pencil, ink, and oil pastel.

Uni, and Shredz by Larry White (Two Boards!)
$120

Starting bid

Skateboarding is art and art is life.

Larry White is a mixed‑media artist, muralist, and illustrator based on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. His work blends street‑art instinct with fine‑art depth, moving between surreal dream‑logic, expressive symbolism, and raw, ink‑driven experimentation. With nearly four decades rooted in skate culture, his visual language carries the grit, humor, and restless energy of the streets while drawing from the wild landscape he calls home.

Working across aerosol, acrylic, watercolor, ink, enamel, and unconventional materials, White builds layered worlds where bodies shift, symbols breathe, and meaning hides in the seams between memory and myth. His portfolio spans large‑scale murals, surreal paintings, character‑driven illustrations, and an extensive archive of works on paper that reveal the pulse of his studio practice.

White’s art is defined by instinct, narrative tension, and a deep connection to place — a blend of the Pacific Northwest’s rugged quiet and the kinetic spirit of skateboarding. His work appears in public spaces, private collections, and brand collaborations, with a growing presence in contemporary surrealism and mixed‑media illustration.

Krampus Kreeping by Christopher Barnes
$80

Starting bid

Der Krampus is the shadow that lurks in the corners of the mind, ever watchful for the time you slip up and do something untoward against fellow living creatures. I used à mixture of materials making this piece on an old used skate deck of mine. Clay, faux fur, acrylic paints, some reed, and chains.

With a degree in Fine Arts, this person decided to go into a career as an IT support technician. To pay the bills of course, as well as to fund all the materials needed to make art of a variety of mediums that included painting, sculpting, photography, filmmaking and puppetmaking. Skateboarding for going on 40 years has been a huge boon towards endowing him with a large array of musical and artistic tastes, helping establish a curious nature towards the world. After living in central and western TX for a chunk of his life, the time had come to move to the PNW where roots were sowed in Bremerton in 2016. Since then he's made connections in the in the arts community, once a member of the collective visions art gallery and co-curator of the Valentinetti Puppet Museum; has had several exhibits around town, primarily clown related, as well as films in the west sound film festival, working as an artist and volunteer for Wayzgoose on 3-4 occassions, and marching with a giant Krampus puppet for Krampusnacht 2025. More shenanigans will follow most assuredly.
