Join We Met in Broward and New River Theater at Riverside Hotel Fort Lauderdale for a social improv class all about thinking on your feet, playing along and laughing with people you just met. We&rsquo;ll break the ice, make things up on the spot and have some fun being creative together. Enjoy a one-hour beginner-friendly improv class. Then continue the connection during facilitated small-group conversations and mingling. No improv or acting experience necessary. You don&rsquo;t have to be funny. You don&rsquo;t have to be outgoing. And you definitely don&rsquo;t have to know what you&rsquo;re doing. You just have to show up and be open. Check in, choose your wristbands and make a name tag. Start mingling. 6:30 p.m. Welcome. We&rsquo;ll start with introductions and an opening icebreaker. 6:45 p.m. Improv class. New River Theater guides us through an hour of improv games, creativity and making things up as we go. No experience necessary! 8 p.m. Small-group conversations. Now that we&rsquo;ve broken the ice, we&rsquo;ll break into small groups and get to know each other through facilitated conversations. 8:30 p.m. Group photo and mingle.
