As Arterra works toward becoming the first Certified Organic Mid-Atlantic vineyard growing European Vitis vinifera varieties, Jason will share the story behind the estate’s farming and winemaking philosophy. Through five specially selected wines, guests will explore how Virginia’s climate and geology align with particular grape varieties to produce clean, natural, terroir-driven wines of consistent quality.
The winning bidder may choose one of two experiences:
Jason Murray will lead an immersive tasting at your home or preferred location for you and up to 10 additional guests. Five wines will be selected to illustrate Arterra’s approach to climate, geology, organic farming, and minimal-intervention winemaking.
Guests will have the opportunity to order wines following the tasting, with complimentary shipping available on purchases of four or more bottles.
Two guests will visit Arterra Wines in Delaplane for a private tour of the vineyard and cellar, followed by a guided tasting and conversation with Jason in the tasting room.
