Nathan, Attorney at Law&nbsp;for an informative presentation on what charitable beneficiaries can expect during the administration of an estate or trust. What happens after an individual passes away and your organization is named as a charitable beneficiary? This program provides a practical overview of what charities can expect when receiving an inheritance through an estate, living trust, or non-probate asset. Amanda M. Nathan, Attorney at Law , Partner with Gordon Thomas Honeywell, will walk through the basics of estate and trust administration, including the roles and responsibilities of those involved and the general timeline for distributions. The program will explain the differences between probate assets, trust assets, and non-probate assets, as well as what charitable beneficiaries should expect throughout the process. Participants will also learn about common issues that may delay distributions, how to communicate effectively with personal representatives and trustees, and situations in which a charitable beneficiary may want to consult with legal counsel.
