Sometimes the plan changes by choice. Sometimes life, work, money, business, family, or circumstances make the decision for us. When the Plan Changes is The Vibrancy Foundation™’s second Community Conversation, created specifically for Black Women navigating change, uncertainty, reinvention, and decisions about what comes next. Whether you’re considering a career change, navigating job loss or organizational restructuring, exploring entrepreneurship, rethinking an existing business, preparing for retirement, experiencing changes in income, or simply realizing that the plan you once had no longer fits, you don’t have to figure it all out alone. This won’t be a traditional panel discussion, job fair, networking mixer, or career seminar. It will be an honest, supportive, culturally rooted gathering centered on meaningful conversation, practical guidance, reflection, connection, and resources. Breakout Conversation Preferences You’ll participate in two of the three breakout conversations during the day. Please rank all three in order of preference. We’ll do our best to honor your first and second choices. Financial Readiness Preparing financially when work, income, business, or life circumstances change. Business Coaching + Career Navigation & Advocacy Exploring career and business possibilities, transferable skills, self-advocacy, professional relationships, and new opportunities. Mental Wellness & Identity Exploring confidence, identity, stress, expectations, and caring for yourself when roles, income, work, or plans change. Your day will also include guided reflection, a Needs + Offers Exchange, practical resources, lunch, and opportunities to connect with other Black Women. You don’t need to have the next move figured out. Come ready to reflect, connect, share what you know, discover what you may need, and explore what’s possible when the plan changes.
