Hop aboard the Cog Railway with MWOBS educators for a winter journey up to Waumbek Station, an alpine meadow just below treeline on Mount Washington. Participants will collect and compare real-time weather and environmental data at the Cog Base Station and again at the 4,000&#39; Waumbek Station, explore how scientists study winter conditions, and learn about citizen science opportunities. Warm up with hot cocoa in a true winter wonderland before heading back down the mountain. This adventure is a unique opportunity to experience the beauty, excitement, and science of Mount Washington in winter&mdash;and to gather inspiration and ideas for bringing students or groups on this unforgettable learning experience in the future.
