We are excited to be dancing with you soon.Here are some additional details about the day of:1. Location: Armentality Movement Arts Center is located on the 6th floor of the Grand Rapids Masonic Center at 233 Fulton St E. There is covered parking on Fulton, as well as second level parking around the corner on Lafayette. Once inside, you can make your way to the elevator and the studio will be to the left once you arrive on the 6th floor.2. What to bring: Dancers are free to wear any form fitting athletic clothing for the workshop, but if they are performing in the informal showing, please plan on wearing all black. Hair should be cleanly secured off of face. No dance shoes are required- bare feet or socks are welcome. Dancers should plan on bringing their own water, there is a water fountain on site to refill.3. Informal Showing: This performance is an opportunity to show friends and family the nearly 10 minute long work the dancer learned during the day, dancing along with the company members. It is free and open to the public. There will be seating in the studio available for guests. Dancers will have 30 minutes between workshop completion and the informal showing to break.4. Performance Opportunity: We will be selecting 1-2 dancers from the workshop to perform the piece learned that day in our premiere concert this spring. The decision will be made based not only on performance at the informal showing, but also through observing the dancer throughout the day.
