By signing below, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms of this Waiver and Release of Liability. 1. Assumption of Risk: I acknowledge that participating in the Witches Ride involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: riding on open streets alongside vehicular traffic, sudden stops and starts, hazards from road conditions, weather, equipment malfunction, collision with other cyclists or vehicles, and potential serious bodily injury, disability, or property damage.I certify that I am a confident bicycle rider, physically fit, and sufficiently trained to participate safely in a group ride on public roads. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for all risks associated with my participation. 2. Release of Liability &amp; Hold HarmlessIn consideration of being permitted to participate in the event, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue The Newtown Experience, its board members, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, sponsors, organizers, and agents (collectively, the &quot;Released Parties&quot;) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury (including death) that may be sustained by me or my property while participating in, traveling to, or traveling from this event, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise. 3. Safety Rules &amp; Riding Guidelines: I agree to strictly adhere to the following event safety rules and road regulations:Rules of the Road: I will obey all traffic laws, including stopping at stop signs and traffic signals, staying to the right side of the road, taking extra care during stops and starts, and actively communicating with nearby riders.E-Bike Policy: Only pedal-assist e-bikes are permitted (no throttle-only e-bikes). E-bike riders must position themselves toward the rear of the group and exercise heightened caution when starting and stopping.Candy &amp; Items: I will not toss candy, promotional items, or any other objects from my bicycle at any point during the ride. 4. Costumes &amp; Bicycle Mechanics: I understand that riding in costume presents unique safety challenges and agree to the following:Witch Hats: All hats must be securely attached to my helmet or tied beneath my chin to prevent them from blowing off during the ride.Broomsticks &amp; Attachments: No physical broomsticks may be attached to bicycles. I am responsible for ensuring all decorations, capes, or costume elements are secured and cannot become entangled in wheels, chains, spokes, or drivetrains.Test Run Responsibility: I confirm that I am responsible for test-running my costume and bicycle setup prior to event day to verify safe operation. 5. Photo &amp; Media Release I grant The Newtown Experience the right to use photographs, video footage, or audio recordings taken of me during the event for non-profit promotional, marketing, or archival purposes without compensation.6.
