Join us for the Women and Youth Trapper Training. Learn essential skills in responsible wildlife management. This hands-on workshop is designed to provide practical training in sustainable trapping methods. The Florida Trappers Association offers an engaging educational experience that aligns with our mission to promote ecological balance. Participants will receive personalized instruction from seasoned experts, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of effective trapping practices. This is a great introduction for youth and beginners. &nbsp;This training will cover the basics of trapping: box traps, snares, reading animal tracks, baiting, and the release of non-target catches. &nbsp;Training will then move on to skinning and cleaning any animals caught. &nbsp;Proper fur handling techniques will be taught, including fur trapping ethics &amp; all participants will be educated on Florida laws and regulations. This is a fun and rewarding weekend of trapping &amp; fellowship.( participants allowed: 20 youth, including participating guardian &amp; 15 Women &nbsp;)**All participants 16 years &amp; older must have a &nbsp;Valid Florida Trappers License.**&nbsp; Participating Adults $100 Participating Youths 9-18 &nbsp;$35 and must be registered, Non-Participating Chaperones/youth only $25.
