The Friends of the Euclid Public Library will present a Women in History luncheon on Thursday, September 24 from noon &ndash; 2 p.m., focusing on Women&rsquo;s Suffrage. The Friends will partner with Women in History Ohio, whose presenters will bring Sojourner Truth and Susan B. Anthony to life through historical reenactment. Guests will hear the stories of these two fascinating figures, their work for equality and their roles in the long fight for the right to vote. With election season right around the corner, the program offers a chance to step back and explore the history behind the right to vote and the individuals who helped pave the way for women to have their voices heard at the ballot box. The afternoon will feature lunch followed by the presentation, offering guests an opportunity to enjoy an engaging program focused on two remarkable figures in American history and their contributions to the fight for voting rights. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $20 and will be available beginning August 31 online and at the library circulation desk.
