Limpiamos y organizamos semillas, procesamos materiales vegetales, cuidamos herramientas y ayudamos a organizar y preparar The Plant Lab. Ven a ayudar, aprender juntas y conocernos.

Women’s Seed Circle at The Plant Lab Wednesdays · 1–3 p.m. · Oceanside An open weekly volunteer gathering The Women’s Seed Circle is an open weekly volunteer gathering at The Plant Lab. We come together to work with our hands, create, and tend to seeds, plants, and each other. Women’s and femmes’ knowledge, judgment, and leadership are at the center of this circle. People of all genders are welcome to join us. No experience with seeds or plants is needed. We’ll clean and organize seeds, process plant materials, care for tools, and help set up and tend the space. Right now, there’s tule to turn as it dries, supplies to sort, and work areas to get in order. What we work on will depend on what needs attention that week. The Plant Lab is here to nourish our relationships with plants and support land-based work in our communities. It’s a shared space with seeds, tools, and materials that help people grow food, make things with plants, and care for the places around them. We value this work and the experience and skill it takes. As we work together, we’ll share stories, teach each other what we know, and learn from one another. The people doing the tending need care and support, too. We’ll make time to sit, talk, laugh, and get to know each other. Deepening our relationships and building community strengthens our ability to care for one another and create change together. Come work with your hands and let’s nourish each other. Where: The Plant Lab 3239 Roymar Rd., Suite A, Oceanside Park inside the gate in an open parking space or on the street. Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dusty, and bring a water bottle. For now, ages 12 and up. Anyone under 18 needs to come with an adult. We aren’t yet set up for younger children, but hope to explore ways to welcome them as the circle develops. Check the available dates and RSVP for each Wednesday you plan to attend. We won’t meet every Wednesday, and signing up helps us plan and reach you if anything changes.
