In this hands-on workshop, you&#39;ll use a variety of pre-carved woodblocks to create your own fine art prints using Hacksburg&#39;s printing press. We&#39;ll discuss traditional hand carving techniques and demonstrate contemporary examples created using Hacksburg&#39;s laser cutter and CNC mill. You&#39;ll also learn how to prepare designs for carving, apply ink correctly, and use both machine and manual printing methods, including hand printing with a baren. By the end of the class, you&#39;ll take home your own handcrafted prints and the skills to continue this versatile art form on your own.
