Come learn the basics of woodworking in this three-day workshop by building an approximately 18-inch-tall end table or coffee table, with participants choosing a length between 18 inches and 48 inches from live-edge slabs provided by the farm. The workshop will cover how to measure and plan a project; safely use essential tools such as a tape measure, sanders, circular saw, drill, and more; and complete each step of the build, including cutting, sanding, applying polyurethane, and attaching the legs. We&rsquo;ll also review basic shop safety and practical tips for tackling small DIY projects at home. All tools, legs, supplies, guidance, and expertise will be provided. By the end of the workshop, you&rsquo;ll leave with a finished table and a solid foundation in beginner woodworking skills. Questions can be directed to Aaron Dickerson at 504-357-9090. This workshop will take place from 5:30-7:30pm on June 19, June 20, and June 21.
