Wormfest 2025 will be held the last weekend of March (28-30) at the Carter Caves State Resort Park. One of our missions as a grotto is to promote camaraderie within our caving community and support some of our favorite places during their shoulder season. DUG will be renting Bunkhouse 1 and surrounding campsites 115 and 117 within the park for Friday, March 28th and Saturday, March 29th. The bunkhouse and campsites will serve as a place for coming together, enjoying each others company, and storing gear in between trips. We ask that you reserve a nearby campsite in the campground or take advantage of the cabins and lodge rooms available (<a href="https://cartercavesstatepark.com/?detailed_information=accommodations" style="text-decoration-color:initial;user-select:auto;box-sizing:inherit">https://cartercavesstatepark.com/?detailed_information=accommodations</a>). There will be trips Friday through Sunday, starting from the lodge or bunkhouse, and then pizza from a local restaurant,  campfire and fun in the campground Saturday night. The cave options for trips may be subject to change and are dependent on respecting bat hibernaculum. We will update the website and Facebook event page with any changes as it gets closer to the event. We will also be having merchandise for sale. The proceeds will come back to DUG to support purchasing gear for our survey trips. Merchandise will include fun stickers and DUG t-shirts. And as with all DUG events, we do recommend bringing a TuTu if you have one otherwise we will bring some to share because we can never be without!
