Playing with POV Writing Workshop - Instructed by Naomi Daniluk

One-Time Workshop on Saturday, January 25 from 2:30-4:30 pm - Ages 16+

Join us for an engaging workshop exploring the art of perspective in storytelling. We will experiment with using various points of view (POVs) to shape how a story unfolds, including:

  • First Person (I/we): The narrator's direct experience.
  • Second Person (you): Immersive and conversational.
  • Third Person (she/he/they/it): Broad and versatile storytelling.
  • Third Person Limited: Focused on the inner world of one character.
  • Fourth Person (one/oneself/someone/anyone): Abstract and reflective.

Experiment with each POV through hands-on writing exercises to discover how perspective influences tone, voice, and connection with the reader. Perfect for writers of all levels!

Naomi Daniluk received her Master in Screenwriting from the National Film Institute of Ireland. Her short story, Light Junkie, was recently published by Ink Alchemy Books in Beware the Light: An Anthology of Dark Fiction. The story, along with other writing samples, can be found on her website www.naomidaniluk.com.
