The good captain will be recruiting mule drivers, also known as hoggees, to help guide the mules along the Erie Canal Towpath. Captain Kelsey will regale us with tales of adventure or misadventure of times on the grand Erie Canal. This is a show that will be a hit with both adults and children.  Our afternoon session “Introduction to Irish Dance” will be presented by the Butler-Sheehan Academy of Traditional Irish Dance from 12:30 - 2:00 PM, and will teach students about the history and styles of traditional Irish dancing, with demonstrations and performances of many styles of Irish dance. At the conclusion of the class, students will be invited to participate in a dance specifically designed for them. Our instructor is Pattie Sheehan-Malinowski. There is no charge for the class, which is being offered to children of all ethnicities aged 10-14.
