Join Media Arts Center San Diego (MACSD) for a Youth Scholarship Fundraiser and special D&iacute;a de los Muertos celebration benefiting the next generation of San Diego storytellers, filmmakers, and media artists. Funds raised will directly support MACSD youth education initiatives, including our Workforce Development Initiative, Emerging Makers, Teen Producers Project, and Young Creators Media Camps. Our goal is to raise $5,250 to provide: 5 Youth Scholarships &mdash; $1,750Help five young people participate in our paid media arts programs, with scholarships of $350 each. 10 Youth Workforce Stipends &mdash; $2500Provide paid stipends of $250 each to 10 participants in our workforce-based media arts initiatives, helping ensure that financial circumstances aren&#39;t a barrier to gaining real-world creative experience. 1 Continuing Education Scholarships &mdash; $1,000Support a recent MACSD program participant as they pursue higher education or additional professional media training. Together, these investments help young people build creative skills, gain professional experience, prepare for higher education, and see a future for themselves in the media arts.
