Group Registration

MeckMIN&#39;s Youth Group, combines fun, learning and service into their projects. The Service Project @ Galilee Center brings together young people from across our community to serve side by side, learn about one another, develop friendships and give to the community. Volunteers will help with practical tasks that support neighbors and strengthen local connections. 🧤 The service will be sorting and stocking food donations for Lydia&rsquo;s Pantry, an emergency food bank located at Galilee Center. Plus we&#39;ll get to bring our own food donations. The Galilee Center, operated by Galilee Ministries of East Charlotte, is a community resource hub. It serves immigrants, refugees, and local residents by offering support, education, and basic needs. Part of this service project includes you bringing donations as well. Please bring shelf stable food: Baby diapers (all sizes),&nbsp;Personal hygiene products (toothbrush/paste, soap, shampoo, etc)Basic household cleaning supplies (dish soap, laundry detergent, clorox wipes)&nbsp; Canned beans (black bean, pinto beans, etc) Dry beans (black beans, pinto) Canned tunaCanned chicken Peanut butter Canned vegetables Soup Canned fruitFruit&nbsp;cups Cereal (dry) Hot cereal (oatmeal/grits) Rice (1 lb bags) Pasta/Noodles Canned pasta (e.g., ravioli, spaghetti o&#39;s) Pasta sauceDiced tomatoes Shelf stable milk Peanut Butter or Cheese Crackers Plain Crackers (sleeve) Granola bars/Breakfast bars This project is a commitment to local, interfaith cooperation and mutual respect.
