Let's celebrate the holiday season Spanish style! Zambomba is a traditional percussion musical instrument, more precisely a rubbed membranophone. It is used to accompany popular traditional songs mostly in Portugal, Spain and Latin American countries. In Spain, a Zambomba is a typical Christmas celebration in which people sing Villancicos, (aka Christmas carols), while playing this instrument.Gathering 10 talented artists, we bring Spain to you! Enjoy an engaging evening of fine wine, Spanish food and Christmas carols with the flare of Flamenco music and dance!Tickets also include one glass of wine and one serving of paella! Non-alcoholic beverages will be available. Are you a donor or donated prior to this event? Are you an active board member? Our donors and Peña board members get a second complimentary glass of wine as a Thank You for being a direct source of support. Wine is brought to you by our hosts Espinosa Winery. They are a family owned and operated winery that focuses on Spanish wine varieties. They are located in the beautiful serene hillsides of Ramona Valley, Escondido. Paella will be prepared by Chef Raymond-Alexander Pereira! He is the only American Iberian Ham Carver! He has carved Jamon Ibérico for the Queen of Spain and is continually growing his audience world wide. Chef Raymond is based in San Diego, though studied in Spain to perfect his skills in Spanish cuisine. Our Artists Pepele Mendez / Juan Murube / Kambiz Pakan / Bruno Serrano / Maria Jose Duran / David Morales  / Lakshmi Basile "La Chimi" / La Chimi Flamenco Company Dancers This is not a typical flamenco show, but a much more intimate setting where audience and artists share space. We encourage our guests to dress warm and come with a flamenco flare! Who knows, you might just end up dancing with us! And Please Don't forget this event will be held at Espinosa Vineyards, located at 15360 Bandy Canyon Rd, Escondido, CA. We will be outdoors with two fire pits and outside heaters. Again, please dress warm! This event is catered to adults, so we ask all guests to be 21 and up.
