Zinnia Fun - Ikebana Principles - Instructor- Cynthia DamicoExtension Master Gardener , 25-year veteran of the floral industry and the owner of Design In Bloom, a boutique event florist and micro flower farm based in Madison County, Virginia. 🌸Style : Hands-OnLocation: George Washington Carver Center Working with a kenzan and shallow bowl we&rsquo;ll explore the connections between heaven, human and earth through floral design. &nbsp;Although appearing to be a very simple design with less than 10 ingredients, it&rsquo;s tricky to find the harmony. &nbsp;You will take home the kenzan (pin frog) and bowl so please bring a box to tote it. &nbsp; What will be in bloom? &nbsp;ageratum, lemon and cinnamon basil, plume celosia, oregano, three types of zinnias, gomphrena, and fingers crossed, dahlias All flowers and foliages will be grown on site at the Carver Center in the Extension Master Gardeners Demonstration Garden. &nbsp;Tours of the Demo Garden will be available after class if you&rsquo;re interested in seeing how we grow all the amazing product you&rsquo;ll be using. Class fees are non-refundable except in the event the instructor must cancel due to weather or illness. If you are unable to attend, your class fee will help support our nonprofit mission and is greatly appreciated.
