As temperatures rise across the world both climatically and politically, what’s stirring within each of us? Grief, anger, uncertainty, anxiety and numbness are natural responses. There might be the wish to do more - or anything at all - to address these global problems. There might also be a difficulty in imagining how things could possibly be different, uncertainty about where to begin, and what one’s individual role is within the larger whole. We come together in collective witnessing of these difficult times. Through guided meditations, reflections and embodied presence we honour the feelings arising within us as our hearts open to the world’s pain, envision a future in which these problems are being addressed and gently open up to the small and not so small steps we can take towards being part of the healing. We come together to cultivate a sense of hope and to see how we can translate it into action. For all those who feel concerned about the state of the world and want to make a difference, join us. This scholarship fund supports emerging facilitators of the Work That Reconnects who want to participate in the Spiral Journey 8-month Facilitator Development Program with limited access to sufficient funds. Over 60% of our participants receive full or partial scholarships. We prioritize scholarships for People of the Global Majority and people who have been oppressed by the dominant socio-economic system.
