Make Her Life BetterWhat sets us apart? In 1979, I was invited to lead a team to Guatemala to paint a medical clinic. We spent the summer there, had a blast, and learned a little about the culture.  When I arrived, I had the opportunity to spend time with a family in a small village. My Spanish skills were limited, but the Father worked around them. In that village, I came face-to-face with a heart’s desire to help widows and single mothers.  This desire took form in Nicaragua, where we began building homes for widows and single mothers in the Matagalpa Department. We have continued to pursue this heart’s desire and kingdom purpose.
