The Silverman Mejia Foundation is a New Jersey registered nonprofit organization committed to fighting food insecurity and supporting children’s education in underserved communities. Through free meal programs, food assistance, and educational supplies, we help children and families access the basic support they need to learn, grow, and move forward with dignity. The foundation was created in honor of Mr. Silverman, whose compassion and generosity continue to inspire our commitment to serving others. Together with my family’s dedication to giving back, the Silverman Mejia Foundation was established to turn that spirit of kindness into meaningful action. We believe no child should have to face hunger or go without the basic tools needed to learn and grow. Through compassionate outreach and community partnerships, we provide support where it is needed most, including free meals, food assistance, school supplies and emergency relief for families in underserved communities. Our first humanitarian mission begins in the Dominican Republic, with a focus on underserved communities in Santiago Rodríguez and Restauración. In these communities, we aim to help fight food insecurity by implementing free meal programs for children and providing educational supplies such as backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and other basic school materials. As our foundation grows, we are committed to expanding our efforts to serve vulnerable communities both locally and internationally. When you support the Silverman Mejia Foundation, you are doing more than making a donation — you are helping provide meals to children, supplies for students, relief for families, and hope for communities in need. Together, we can fight hunger, support education, and make a lasting difference.
