🌟 Calling all family, friends, and community members please join the Northampton Performance Ensembles Boosters in helping the Northampton High School OM team get to the 2026 OM World Finals in Iowa! 🌟 This team placed 2nd in Virginia in “Problem 4 Structure: Life’s a Ball” where the students designed a 8 inch by 3 inch structure out of Balsawood that could weigh no more than 15 grams, equal to 6 pennies, and test it for how much weight it can hold while rolling different balls down a ramp at it to weaken the structure. All this is going on while students are performing an 8 minute theater performance about a charity ball to tie in the theme of the problem. This team has worked very hard this year competing in a problem that requires not only our performing arts background but also a knowledge of Engineering to be successful going out of their comfort zone to compete with some of the top teams in the world right from Virginia. They have learned design skills that have helped them overcome many obstacles this year in their structure and their prior skills in acting helped them be the highest performing spontaneous (improv) team in the state propelling them to qualify for the World Finals. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to achieving our goal as we are quickly approaching our April 20th deadline of registering for the competition and our housing while competing. Please help us to represent Virginia and the Eastern Shore! How you can help power our mission:

Donate: Every dollar counts. Your advocacy can amplify our impact.

Thank you for supporting our mission; your support is invaluable!
