⬇⬇⬇CLICK "More Details" Below⬇⬇⬇ Help us build Peak View's next 25 years of play. Peak View Elementary School (PKVES) is celebrating its 25th anniversary! Our two original playgrounds serving our 500+ students are now 25 years old. One play area is regularly affected by drainage problems after heavy rain making the equipment unusable, and our outdoor spaces offer little meaningful shade. Why replace instead of repair?Repairs and replacement parts for just one of the 25-year-old structures were estimated at more than $16,000. Given the life expectancy of 20-30 years of our two playground structures, it is a necessity to replace the equipment before it becomes unsafe for our students. Our goal is to replace both aging playgrounds with safer, more inclusive equipment; improve accessibility and drainage; add outdoor shade; and create a play space that will serve Peak View students for decades to come. Our fundraising deadline is November 20, 2026.Reaching our goal means new playgrounds and shade by early spring 2027! Our playground committee has already raised $118,183 through a matching grant on equipment, previously-raised PTO funds, and generous in-kind and monetary donations. PKVES PTO is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and every contribution—from families, local businesses, and community partners—moves this project closer to reality.
