REGISTRATION ONLY FOR COMPETING POETS FOR THE POETRY SLAM ON 02/19

Competing poets will need three poems for a three round elimination bout (10-5-3) including a time limit of 3:00 with a 10 second grace period. Performances timed after the 3:10 time limit will result in a time penalty of -0.5 for every 10 seconds after. Poems must be original works written by the performing poet and only themselves (AI works will be automatic disqualification). No props, costumes, and musical accompaniment allowed during the competition; if found, it will result in a disqualification. Poets are allowed to read their poems from their cell phone, tablet, and 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper; any other items than the listed items are not allowed. Bout draw starts at 7:45 pm. Poets who do not arrive by bout draw time will perform first in the start of the first round.
